Super friendly and welcoming staff. The safari tents are excellent .... basic with no perks, but that's what you come here for, to wake up in the rainforest, it's amazing. The Safari tents are clean and comfy. The cooking facilities are excellent, and the staff will supply plates and cutlery if needed. Cafe is also a very Good option for dinner, with yummy home cooked meals, beer and wine. The pool is refreshing after a day exploring. Everything here is done in a simple, no fuss way. If you need luxury then this isn't a place for you. It's a truly immersive experience to stay here, our kids really enjoyed, as did the adults. It's wonderful to see the kids off tech and engaging with the rainforest.

Absolutely loved this place. Such a great place to stay for a real rainforest experience. Simple facilities but makes you really embrace being in nature. It’s has everything you need. A bit expensive to eat out every night and not many places stock up on food. But this place offer a kitchen to cook and prepare your own food with a fridge to store it. Lots of fun games to play and feel like a community.! Plus we got to see a cassowary and its baby just out side our hut.!

Loved being in the rainforest and listening to the sounds of wildlife while we slept! The bed was super comfortable and we loved the back to basics vibe. The pool is charming and the common area at the centre was a great place to chill in the evening. Food was also excellent and the kitchen was great for the evenings we cooked our own meals. Unfortunately we didn't spot a cassowary but we saw some bandicoots one night which was magical.

This is a rewilding experience in a remote location so understand you are in the middle of a rainforest with wild animals about and the facilities are not 5 star. I loved that their power was only on for a certain time period to add to the rewilding experience. The food was amazing so their chef deserves an award. I took a chance and chose their vegetarian curry and I was blown away at how tasty it was. The staff were exceptional, genuine, friendly, approachable and went out of their way to help. They supplied old school games and had a pool table which helped me connect with my son more deeply and which I appreciated immensely. Their dog felt like icing on the cake as well. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and it was the first time I slept with a mosquito net. We had no issues with insects in our room which surprised me.

The common space was great with lots of seating and interesting books about Australian animals and plants. Good kitchen facilities with all you may need, as well as decently priced meals and coffees for purchase at their cafe that looked and smelled good. The sleeping facilities were also very spacious and comfortable, being right in the rainforest, immersed in nature was my favourite part!

Steve & staff were extremely hospitable and even showed us a Cassowary family! This location is truly what it says it is.. within the Daintree Rainforest, it was so peaceful waking up to sounds of nature and greenery. I had one of the best sleeps of my life (perhaps it was just a by-product of being immersed in nature!). Highly recommend if you want a rustic & nature filled experience. Also bring insect repellant!!

Daintree Crocodylus is set in a stunning rainforest, with cabins and communal areas thoughtfully integrated into the surroundings, preserving the forest’s natural beauty. Each cabin is surrounded by enough lush vegetation to provide a sense of privacy that really enhances the feeling of being immersed in these ancient woods. Inside the cabin was cozy and relaxing, though it could benefit from more hooks and a surface to set things on, like a table or shelf.

We loved the ambience of the place and it being in the jungle. We loved the cabins. We loved the immersion of being in the oldest rain forest in the world. We loved waking in the morning and hearing the jungle come alive. We loved the night walk with Matthew - who was really knowledgeable. He showed and explained to us the many amazing plants that grew there and many amazing stories. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food on offer was also great. We loved it there. What an outstanding place! This is a must stay spot for those who wish to blend with the Daintree forest/jungle and most importantly, prefer stay in more pristine nature. We also had a magic feeling when swimming at night in their wonderful pool with rainforest leaves above it and gazing at well visible stars. You hear so much around (especially at night) and may also see some lovely rainforest creatures that otherwise you would not spot. It was a dry period then, so we did not experience any mosquitos. They also serve wonderful food and the staff is fantastic. But this place may be not for those who prefer tiled/glassed/cushioned ambience or music/noise- better go elsewhere so not to spoil the tranquillity of this spot. We would definitely stay there again as it was one of most memorable stays during our full month trip in Australia.

Fantastic accommodation literally in the middle of the rainforest. You could hear and see all sort of animals at night! The staff was very kind and helpful, the kitchen well provided, and there were organized night walks to spot birds, bats, insects ecc. Near the accommodation there is also a nice walking path through the jungle with good chances to see cassowaries.
